- Signing – 25 Overhead Signs Structures and 12,000 SF of Signs
- ITS – 3 DMS Signs, 5 Miles of Fiber & 31 RVSDs
- Roadway Illumination – 200 Low Mast Poles and 10 High Mast Poles
- raffic Signals – 4 New Traffic Signals
- Aesthetic Lighting – 2,600 Decorative Light Fixtures on the Superstructure
- Maintenance & Power – 500 Outlets and Lights within the Superstructure
- Navigation Lighting/Aviation Lighting/Lightning Protection
Project Highlights
- Longest concrete-segmental cable-stayed bridge in North America; tallest structure in South Texas.
- 205 ft vertical clearance improves port access for larger vessels.
- Signature user amenities: LED lighting, Bridge Aesthetic lighting, 2.4-mile shared-use path, and a mid-span belvedere overlooking Corpus Christi Bay.

Improved Traffic Flow, Reduced Congestion & Increased Port Access
- The project replaced a 70-year-old bridge that was at the end of its usable life.
- Increased traffic flow with additional and wider lanes both North and Southbound
- Additional clearance over the Port allowing Supertankers ingress/egress with potential for cruise ships as well
