- Signing – 72 Overhead Sign Structures and 24,000 SF of Sign Panels
- ITS – 90 ITS Poles, 20 Miles of Fiber, 79 CCTV Cameras & 70 RVSDs
- Roadway Illumination – 800 Light Poles and 13 High Mast Poles
- Traffic Signals – 8 New Traffic Signals
Project Highlights
- Build three elevated lanes in each direction (two general-purpose + one HOV) situated between existing main lanes and frontage roads.
- Provide direct connectors linking the elevated lanes to I-410 North and Loop 1604 West; reconstruct/modify main lanes, frontage roads, ramps, and interchanges within limits.
- Largest Single-Segment Contract Awarded by TxDOT
- 800 Bridge Spans, 4,500 Concrete Beams, 31 million Pounds of Steel Girders, 6 Million Square Feet of Bridge Deck
- One of the largest precast projects in Texas
